Handre Pollard will make his return from a lengthy injury layoff after being named on the bench for Montpellier’s European Challenge Cup clash against Bath this Saturday.
Pollard ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament while playing for Montpellier in a French Top 14 clash against Racing 92 last October, but the World Cup-winning flyhalf is now set to make a timely return to action.
It’s another boost for the Boks ahead of the British & Irish Lions series, with Pieter-Steph du Toit also back in action this weekend, while RG Snyman is soon set to return from a knee injury.
