Sti Sithole and Tjiuee Uanivi arrived at the Kings' training base on Monday and look set to remain with the squad throughout their Super Rugby season.
The 22-year-old Sithole is contracted to the Western Province Rugby Union and played for the Stormers in their first pre-season match against the SWD Eagles in George a fortnight ago.
With the Cape team's riches in the front row division, however, Sithole wasn't secured of a spot in the team. At the Kings Schalk Ferreira is the only loosehead prop in the squad with Sithole as cover.
The other new recruit, Uanivi, who represented Namibia at the World Cup, practised with the Kings yesterday and together with Sithole, could make his debut for the franchise in their pre-season warm-up against the Cheetahs on Friday.
The Kings kick off their Super Rugby campaign against the Sharks on 27 February.
