Fit-again scrumhalf Sébastien Tillous-Borde has replaced Rory Kockott in the French squad to face Wales in Paris.
Kockott started Les Bleus' opening two games of the Six Nations, but was criticised after a disappointing display against Ireland.
The former Sharks No 9 was also suffering from a quad injury which left him doubtful for the Wales game next Saturday.
