Former All Blacks flyhalf Carlos Spencer will coach the EP Kings in their 2014 Currie Cup campaign.

Spencer will be joined by Shimlas coach Michael Horak, in a defensive coaching role, at the end of the Varsity Cup season, and will also be assisted by Robbie Kempson, who will work with the forwards.

Prior to joining the Kings at the end of last year as a backline coach, Spencer's most recent coaching experience involved helping the Lions in the 2012 Super Rugby season and then the Sharks during 2013.

Former Blitzboks and Kings player Mzwandile Stick will coach the Kings' Vodacom Cup side.
