Ian Peel will serve as the scrum coach for England’s Six Nations campaign in 2016.

Peel, who has coached England's U20s since 2013, joins Steve Borthwick (forwards coach) and Paul Gustard (defence coach) as part of Eddie Jones’s new coaching set-up after the Australian replaced Stuart Lancaster.

‘This is a huge opportunity and I am really looking forward to getting stuck in with lots of the guys who I have worked with through the age-group teams, but also when I have gone in and helped [former England assistant coach] Graham Rowntree over the last few seasons,’ Peel commented.

The only post that still remains vacant in the England coaching team is that of backs coach, with a replacement for Mike Catt still being sought.
