The South African Rugby Union has confirmed a third sponsorship deal in the space of a week.

Last Thursday, Saru announced it had signed a new five-year sponsorship deal with Tsogo Sun, while on Monday OUTsurance was welcomed on board as the new referees sponsor.

The latest newcomer is Bidvest car rental, with Saru confirming on Thursday that they had entered into a new five-year partnership.

Earlier this year, both Absa and BMW confirmed that they would not be renewing their Springbok sponsorships, leading to concerns that big-name sponsors were jumping ship after the Boks’ disappointing 2015 season.
