The Blitzboks blanked Russia 45-0 in their second pool match at the Dubai Sevens on Friday.
The South Africans had just too much firepower for Russia, who struggled to get into opposition territory throughout the game. Seabelo Senalta continued his impressive form with another brace, as the Blitzboks ran in seven tries.
Senatla was again the first try-scorer, after breezing through Russia's defence from a quick tap. Chris Dry, Philip Snyman and Justin Geduld crossed the tryline next with Geduld converting on all three occassions to hand the Blitzboks a 26-0 lead at the break.
Senatla and Cheslin Kolbe scored breakaway tries after the restart, before Francois Hougaard set up Werner Kok for the final effort in the left-hand corner.
South Africa will play their final pool fixture against Scotland at 17:12 on Friday.
