Jake White will replace Fabien Galthié as head of coaching at French club Montpellier.
Galthié was fired from the position by Montpellier president Mohed Altrad on Monday. The French media reports that White, who is on a six-month contract with the club, will take Galthié's place.
Galthié will remain in the set-up under White. Former Toulouse stalwart Shaun Sowerby, who was recently with the Eastern Province Kings, will join the club as forwards coach.
Montpellier will play Toulon in the Top 14 this coming weekend.
