Sharks loose forward Tera Mtembu will miss this Saturday's clash with the Blue Bulls in Durban due to a knee injury.
The former Sharks skipper has been sent for an MRI scan to determine the severity of the injury he sustained last weekend, but will definitely not be available this week.
The Sharks are already without fellow loose forward Dan du Preez, who is set to be out for another two to three weeks with a groin injury, while veteran scrumhalf Michael Claassens remains unavailable due to a knee ligament sprain.
Meanwhile, the Sharks confirmed that Pat Lambie has returned to gym training, and will slowly be eased back into field training over the next few weeks as he continues his recovery from a concussion.
