Wallabies scrumhalf Nic White has returned to the Brumbies lineup for Saturday’s crucial Super Rugby AU clash with the Waratahs in Canberra.

In what shapes as the match of the round, Brumbies coach Dan McKellar has made a number of changes to his side.

White headlines the changes, with the Brumbies halfback to return to Super Rugby off the bench after a five-year absence from the competition.

Solomone Kata moves from wing to outside centre in place of Wallaby Tevita Kuridrani, with Tom Wright coming on to the left wing.

Junior Wallabies halfback Ryan Lonergan is preferred at scrumhalf ahead of Joe Powell.

Up front, James Slipper starts ahead of Test teammate Scott Sio and Connal McInerney makes a rare start with Folau Fainga’a missing out on selection.

Veteran locks Cadeyrn Neville and Murray Douglas return which relegates Darcy Swain back to the bench and has Nick Frost dropping out of the squad. In the back row, Lachie McCaffrey starts in place of Rob Valetini at flank.

Waratahs coach Rob Penney has kept faith with the majority of his side following their 28-8 win over the Force, when they recorded back-to-back wins for the first time since March 2019.

In the only change to the backline, Joey Walton is promoted to outside centre with Lalakai Foketi dropping to the bench.

Up front, there are two changes with Ned Hanigan promoted to the starting side to join captain Rob Simmons in the second row. Tighthead prop Harry Johnson-Holmes starts ahead of Tetera Faulkner.
